Weekly Yoga Classes
Monday
Hatha yoga comprises many physical postures and positions that balance the body and mind. These classes are best for beginners since they are usually paced slower than other yoga styles. If you are brand-new to yoga, Hatha yoga is a great entry point to the practice. Hatha yoga helps us destress, stay physically fit and agile, and make us look younger. In addition, Hatha yoga purifies and heals our system, and sustained practice leads to weight loss and toned muscles.
In this asana class we will integrate ease with challenge to tune in to our bodies needs.Students will be encouraged to cultivate tenderness, playfulness, focus, and any other quality they feel called to invite in for the day.After savasana, the class will share in a 15 minute meditation. Here we will learn some basics of meditation which you can take for your own practice.
This class is designed specifically to improve muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance. The poses are challenging and you move from one pose to the next quickly. It provides a good physical workout. A power yoga class may seem more like an aerobics class than a relaxed, mindful yoga experience. Though it requires mindfulness and focus on your breathing, power yoga is more dynamic than meditative.
Tuesday
Yin yoga is slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. You hold poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
Reiki is a lost ancient Tibetan practice that was rediscovered in the late 1800s by Dr. Mikao Usui. It works with our own energy meridians or nerve pathways to create more inner peace in our body's internal environment. Recipients of Reiki have the option of a light touch or non-touch method above the body and along the pathways. It brings them into a more soothing alpha state. Once a Reiki treatment has been administered the recipient can continue to feel the energy for 24-48 hours. Reiki can be done in a circle of clients, privately one-on-one and even from a distance. Intention is key. For anyone curious about this healing energy, please attend one of our Reiki Circles and you will have a glimpse into the experience of Reiki.

Gentle Flow Yoga incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. This class is gentle but moderately paced and a good option for those familiar with basic yoga asanas (poses).

This class will target all body parts... legs, back, biceps, shoulders, chest, triceps and abdominals. By using your own body weight, you will perform fun exercises to high energy dance music. End of class will be an easy stretch and savasana.
This class is full of energy! Recommended attire: sneakers & comfortable athletic clothing. Come hydrated and bring water and a towel -- and get ready to get in the best shape of your life!
Allow the crystal singing bowls to take you to a place of deep relaxation and release. This sonic meditation utilizes coherent sound to reduce the grip and pace of our day-to-day thoughts, inviting a state of peace in the body, mind, and spirit as the electromagnetic signature of the brain and body organs begin to entrain to the sound frequencies of the singing bowls.
Thursday
Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Mix! A gentler class, beginner friendly that incorporates several different styles of yoga.
Chair assisted, off-the-floor practice, gentle and geared towards beginners and those looking to reintroduce flexibility to the body.
This class incorporates movement and breathing techniques, as it creates a steady flow of postures with controlled breathing. Vinyasa is often considered the most athletic yoga style and is a good choice for students wishing to engage in high-intensity exercise, it helps with anxiety, depression, blood pressure and better sleep.
Friday
Holy Yoga embraces the essential elements of yoga: breath work, meditation and physical postures. In all of these elements, Christ is the focus of our intention and worship.
