Going Within Yin Yoga 40-hr Teacher Training
In a world that is moving so fast we invite you to breathe deep, slow down, tune-in and go within w/Yin Yoga. Explore through direct experience how Yin Yoga works on the deeper levels to quiet the mind, balance the emotions and cultivate self compassion and learn how to share this practice with the world during such a needed time!
Yin Yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. This practice often targets the lower back, hips and hamstrings allowing practitioners to experience relief from tightness occurred in these areas whilst encouraging students to maintain a non-judgmental, mindful-inward focus.
Yin Yoga focuses on passive tissue, bone, tendons, joints and ligaments. In Yin Yoga practitioners connect with the subtle body energy and cultivate states of deep mindfulness through stillness and breath. Yin Yoga is a holistic and intelligent practice. As practitioners stay longer in the postures they create space where habitual thinking patterns can be identified and investigated whilst cultivating loving kindness and self-compassion. Yin Yoga and Mindfulness go hand-in-hand and are excellent tools which allow us to cultivate present moment awareness and reduce unnecessary suffering. The training will provide additional depth to experienced teachers and is also suitable for new teachers that may have little to no experience with Yin Yoga and will provide the foundation to teach this practice with confidence by focusing on different aspects of the art of teaching this beautiful practice. Please note it is not necessary to be a yoga teacher to immerse yourself in the many benefits of Yin Yoga and this training!
This training may be taken by anyone interested in experiencing Yin Yoga, interested in learning more about Yin Yoga and in immersing themselves in this beautiful weekend of Yin Yoga and its many benefits! Open to all Yogis!
Join us for this 2 weekend training and gain a solid and comprehensive foundation for teaching Yin Yoga. As in all yoga practice safety of the student is primary. This training will include how to teach Yin Yoga with various modifications and sequencing to meet students where they are with any challenges that may be present.
